February 2 - The new normal: E-mentoring
Time: 09.00 – 10.00 CET
Or
Time: 17.00 - 18.00 CET
E-mentoring provides many advantages over mentoring that takes place in the physical space, whether we are talking about the mentor/mentee meetings or training and workshops for mentors and mentees. However, moving from the traditional context of mentoring to exclusively working online is a big transition for programme managers as well as for mentors and mentees.
We will share with you our knowledge and experience in transforming mentoring into e-mentoring programmes, the advantages and disadvantages and some of the key factors in achieving a successful mentoring programme.
March 9 - Sponsoring - is that a part of mentoring and how?
Time: 09.00 – 10.00 CET
Sponsoring is often mentioned as a separate topic to support women in their leadership career, though sponsoring is important in the careers of both men and women. Sponsoring is about mentors becoming active sponsors, promoting their mentees in the organisation as well as opening doors. Especially in any kind of diversity mentoring the role of sponsor and door opener can be vital to the success of the programme – and for the individuals. But how can mentors be comfortable about using these roles, and when can mentees ask a mentor to be a sponsor and a door opener.
In this webinar we will explore, what sponsoring is, what happens when sponsoring and mentoring are combined, the benefits and dilemmas of sponsoring, as how sponsoring makes a difference and contributes to the success of mentoring programmes
