Tool no. 1 - Mentoring Agreement
The purpose of the mentoring agreement is to ensure a solid foundation, align expectations and agree on ground rules for the collaboration. The agreement can be used to evaluate progress and adjust actions, as needed. Traditionally, some of the elements in the mentoring agreement focus more on the mentee. However, as a mentor, you will also benefit from reflecting on your own motivation, learning goals and expectations.

The Code of Ethics is an important document for both mentor and mentee to set the boundaries for what is ethical, safe, and appropriate to do in the mentoring relationship.
