Christian Liebergreen - Royal Danish Air Force, and former leader of the Sirius Dog Sled Patrol
Christian explains how leadership and mentoring are used under extremely cold conditions – and how these principles can be applied in everyday life. With 75 years of experience in developing and acting as mentors, also known as apprenticeship, The Sirius Dog Sled Patrol in Greenland has unique insights. Through hands-on experience from the Arctic and simple, actionable lessons, they make complex knowledge easy to understand, leading to success and results even in high-pressure situations.
Christian Liebergreen is an author, keynote speaker, former leader of the Sirius Patrol, and adventurer. At the age of 17, he travelled across Canada, later cycled around Zealand, and at 25, he became the leader of the Sirius Patrol for 26 months. He has also sailed solo around the world in just 260 days, among many other remarkable feats. Today, he serves in the Royal Danish Air Force and undertakes assignments as a keynote speaker and expedition leader.

Generational Mentoring - Unleashing the Power of Generational Diversity
David Ringwood, Founder and Head of Touchstone Executive Assesment, Dublin, Ireland
Generational mentoring is about connecting generations, facilitating learning from each other and building a learning community. We will learn about what research says about generations – the pitfalls and success criteria for connecting generations through mentoring. Based on a large-scale study of motivational differences, this research presentation provides tangible strategies to harness the power of generational diversity and how mentoring can be pivotal in accelerating collective performance individually and organisationally.
David is an expert in psychometric assessment, having worked for most of his professional life with a top global firm of psychometricians. He is an Elected Fellow of the Royal Statistical Society and did his training in advanced psychometric theory and structural equation modelling at the Dept. of Psychometrics at Cambridge University. He holds postgraduate and advanced research degrees in Cognitive Linguistics, and is a member of the Association for Coaching, the British Psychological Society and the European Association for Work & Organisational Psychology. He is a member of the IMD Switzerland coaching faculty and has worked on IMD programs for over 15 years.

Compassion - a Key element in Mentoring for Young Athletes

The True Athlete Project Mentoring Programme matches experienced, Olympic/Paralympic level athletes with young, aspiring athletes to support them in their growth and development. At the core of this programme is introducing both mentors and mentees to the power of a more compassionate culture of sport, and how that can improve both their experience of doing sport and their results.
Laurence is an Olympic athlete, performance consultant, coach, and author with deep personal experience in peak performance and mindset. He speaks with authority on the latest and best knowledge about creating compassionate performance environments and how these can help individuals and teams to thrive under pressure. Laurence was formerly a professional fencer from Great Britain and competed in the London 2012 and Rio de Janeiro 2016 Olympics. Following his career as an elite athlete, he has served as both the sports director of the Danish Fencing Federation and the mentoring director at The True Athlete Project. In both roles, he was responsible for the holistic development of top athletes, working alongside some of the world's leading sports psychologists, coaches, and sports scientists.

Exploring Work Identity
Billy Adamsen, Associate Professor and Head of Talent Lab at Zealand Academy of Technology & Business, Denmark
Exploring the dynamics between work identity and identity work and how we become who we are at work – and how external changes can influence the dynamic.
Billy has published on a variety of subjects including management, talent management, work identity and work-related stress, cognition & organization, the psychology of language and political management. In addition to his academic experience, he has worked as a certified stress and work identity coach and as manager and director in national and international companies, as well as having been special advisor for the Danish Prime Minister and Minister for Economics & Business Affairs. His latest book is “Work Identity: A Neurophilosophical Perspective,” (2023).

Leveraging mentoring to empower women in their leadership careers in life science – a mentoring programme organized by Women in Life Science Denmark.
Women in Life Science Denmark (WiLD) is a network for women in the Danish Life Science field. The network is targeted towards executives, non-executive directors, board members, experienced specialists and top-level scientists. The ambition of Women in Life Science Denmark is to create an inspiring and science-centric network forum for women in senior positions across industry and academia and increase the visibility of women in top leadership roles. By acting as visible and active role models, WiLD members wish to inspire the next generation of women to realize their full potential and assume positions of leadership. The WiLD Mentoring programme exists to develop female talent within Life Sciences and educate experienced career women in the art of mentoring.

Kirsten M. Poulsen is the moderator for this year’s conference. As the founder of KMP+ House of Mentoring, she has been a driving force in the field of mentoring and is widely recognized as an expert in mentoring and professional development.
Throughout the conference, she will share insights into the company’s journey, highlighting key milestones and lessons learned. She will also guide us through the day's sessions, connecting each presentation to the overarching theme: why mentoring matters today, tomorrow, and in the future.
With her deep knowledge and passion for the field, Kirsten M. Poulsen will ensure an engaging and thought-provoking experience for all participants.
Kirsten M. Poulsen founded KMP+ House of Mentoring in 2000. She is an international recognised expert in the field of mentoring and has 30+ years of experience in design and delivery of high impact mentoring programmes focused on leadership, talent development and diversity across the globe.
